In addition to the basic removal of all accounts fromįamily Safety (including adults) so there are no accounts left, based on other ideas mentioned in other postings I have searched for WPCMON.EXE (to no avail), looked for "Family Safety Monitor" in Active Tasks (not found), looked for an entry in I have followed the instructions from various users that reported this problem and have removed Family Safety from the computers. I am the only Administrator on these computersĪnd I am unable to make any changes to the restriction. The problem only exists on the two computers that had Family Safety prior to the upgrade. Even worse, this restriction is on all users access - not just those that had Family Safety limits. The many changes to Family Safety and against my wishes, I went ahead and updated the Family Safety user accounts so it would still be somewhat functional, although of course no longer as complete a product as in the past. Two of them had Family Safety turned on in the previous version of Windows. I have three computers that I upgraded to Windows 10 (currently at 6). A search for this problem shows that it has been around for a long time.
